Tia Carrere wins a Grammy for Best Hawaiian Music Album
Tia Carrere’s album "Huana Ke Aloha" album won the Grammy today for Best Hawaiian Music Album at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards.
Carrere won the same category in 2009. "Huana Ke Aloha" album was produced by Daniel Ho, himself a nominee this year for his album "Polani." Other nominees were "Amy Hanaiali’i And Slack Key Masters Of Hawaii," "The Legend" by Ledward Kaapana, and "Maui On My Mind — Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar" by Jeff Peterson.
