3D archery shoot tomorrow

The Bushwackers Archery Club is hosting a 3D Challenge tomorrow at the Kapolei Regional Park archery range.

Competition is in bowhunter bare bow, freestyle, freestyle limited and traditional. The cost is $30 for adults, $15 for club members and $10 for youth 17 and under. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with the shoot starting at 9 a.m. For information call 285-6318 or email robinhood96792@gmail.com.

Deadline Sunday for Guard Dog Triathlon

Early registration for the March 5 Guard Dog Triathlon at Camp Mokuleia closes Sunday.

The cost is $80 for individuals and $125 for teams. An additional $10 will be added for late entries through race day.

The course is composed of a 400-yard swim, 10-mile bike ride and 3-mile run. The race begins at 6:30 a.m. For information, call 372-8885. The map and rules are available at hawaiiswim.com with online registration at active.com.

Also on March 5 at Camp Mokuleia is the inaugural Puppy Dog Biathlon for ages 14 and under. The swim/run course is adjusted for various ages. The race begins at 9 a.m. Call 373-8886 for information.

BMX Race for Life set

The Sandbox BMX track on Sand Island is holding the Race for Life, a nationwide fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, on Feb. 19.

The event is open to BMX and MTB riders. The cost is $20 with $10 going to the cause. Registration is 5 to 6 p.m. with racing to follow. ABA membership is not required.
