Prince Resorts Hawaii helps sweethearts celebrate with special room packages and dinner offerings for Valentine’s Day. The "Romance Package" includes accommodation, convertible rental car, complimentary parking, daily breakfast buffet for two, $100 dinner credit, chocolates and a bottle of sparkling wine.

Valentine’s Day celebrations include special dinners on Feb. 14 at all three Prince resorts: Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki and Golf Club, Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel and Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. Prices range between $45 and $110 per couple.

Kauai Beach Resort is celebrating Valentine’s Day with chocolates — lots of chocolates.

The "Valentine’s Chocolate Package" costs $495, plus taxes, per couple, and includes:

Kohala Ditch rides rolling again

The popular activity formerly called "Flumin’ da Ditch" is back in action on the Big Island.

Rides down the Kohala Ditch waterway are now offered by Kohala Ditch Adventures, owned by ATV Outfitters. After a mountain kayak journey and hike, participants paddle through 10 tunnels and seven flumes before riding out along a macadamia nut orchard. The ditch was originally built to transport water to sugar cane plantations, and floating down the waterway has been a popular activity for residents and visitors. The previous guided tours ended after the 2006 earthquake.
