Two men charged in stolen-car sales attempt
Two men arrested after they allegedly tried to sell a stolen car to undercover police officers last week face multiple charges.
Bruce Mirafuentes, 44, of Kalihi, has been charged with terroristic threatening, gun charges and unauthorized control of a motor vehicle.
Emanuel Williams, 19, of Ewa Beach, has been charged with driving without a license and hindering prosecution.
Police said undercover officers arranged to buy a stolen vehicle from two men last Wednesday at Kohou and Houghtailing streets in Kalihi.
Mirafuentes allegedly pointed a gun as he tried to run away from one of the officers.
The officer fired his handgun; no one was hit. The officer and suspect suffered minor injuries.
