Class teaches tips on roses

Learn how to grow roses during the Second Saturday at the Garden event on Feb. 12. Class will be held at 9 a.m. and repeated at 10:30 a.m. at the Urban Garden Center in Pearl City. Other highlights include the annual plant sale that features native plants, assorted palms and fruit trees, ornamentals and herbs. The Honolulu Rose Society also offers Valentine’s Day specials.
