Man dies after fall while trimming a tree in Nuuanu
A 46-year-old man who fell while working on a tree Saturday has died.
The Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man as Victorio T. Ulep of Honolulu.
Ulep was trimming trees when his harness broke just before 8:26 a.m. Saturday off Nuuanu Pali Drive, and fell about 50 feet, an Emergency Medical Services spokesman said.
Ulep was taken by ambulance in critical condition to the Queen’s Medical Center, where he died later Saturday.
