Pacific islands representatives to discuss regional issues at East-West Center
The East-West Center is planning a private two-day gathering of scholars and senior representatives of Pacific island nations to discuss regional issues.
Among the countries sending representatives are Australia, Japan and the United States.
Participants will examine regional developments across Oceania and analyze emerging trends that are likely to shape the policy environment in the region.
The center’s Pacific Islands Development Program will host the event, beginning Jan. 25, at its headquarters on the University of Hawaii campus in Honolulu.
