Police say man assaulted in McCully over bicycle dispute
Police arrested a 45-year-old McCully man yesterday who apparently beat up a 47-year-old man because he was standing next to his bicycle.
The owner approached his bike about 1:30 p.m. and saw the other man standing next to his bike, police said. The two men began arguing and the suspect attacked the other man, causing injury, police said.
Police arrested the suspect on Pumehana Street on suspicion of second-degree assault and an outsanding warrant.
