At least two men entered the home with handguns, demanding valuables, police said. The man at the home, in his early 30s, told the robbers he did not have anything and was hit several times across the face and body, police said.
He sustained cuts and bruises but was treated at the scene.
The robbers made off with electronics and household items, police said.
Police are still looking for the second robber. There may have been a third person who drove the getaway car.
A neighbor said that about five or six years ago, one of the residents of the house was held at gunpoint at the same home.
