‘Five-0’ actor Kim selling home
Actor Daniel Dae Kim, a featured star on CBS TV’s top-rated "Hawaii Five-0," is selling his Kahala home for $2.4 million.
The five-bedroom, two-bath home on Aukai Avenue was originally built in 1948 and boasts 3,354 square feet of living area and a pool. It sits on 13,500 square feet of land dotted with palm trees.
The 42-year-old Kim put the home on the market on Monday. He purchased the home in June for $2.2 million, well before "Five-0" became successful, said his realtor, Rob Burns of East Oahu Realty. "He said now that the show is doing so well I might as well get the house I really want," Burns said.
Kim sold his interest in The Counter Honolulu, an upscale hamburger restaurant in Kahala Mall.
