A man died today after being shot multiple times in Anahola.

The shooting occurred at approximately 10:56 a.m., according to Kauai police. The victim was taken to Wilcox Memorial Hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.

Officers apprehended two men in Anahola in connection with the shooting. Charges are pending.

The identify of the victim is being withheld pending notification of relatives.
