Man held in September robbery of convenience store
A man was arrested yesterday in connection with the robbery of a Kalihi convenience store in September.
The man, 29, was arrested at his Ahonui Street home and is being held pending a robbery charge.
Police believe he is the man who walked into the liquor store on the morning of Sept. 2 asking to buy cigarettes. When the clerk, 69, opened the register, the robber went around a counter, pushed the clerk, and grabbed money from the register.
