Honolulu police arrested a 47-year-old McCully man last night who allegedly threatened, punched and stole his girlfriend’s car Saturday night.

The 53-year-old victim told police that her boyfriend drove her around the Pearl City area for two hours Saturday night while hitting her and threatening to kill her.

The man demanded her car and punched her when she refused to give it to him, police said. The suspect dropped the woman off near a restaurant in Pearl City at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday and she called police.

Police located and arrested the suspect last night on Wai Wai Loop near the airport.
