Police ask for help finding man who robbed Kaimuki 7-Eleven

CrimeStoppers and Honolulu police are seeking the public’s help to find a man who robbed a 7-Eleven in Kaimuki.

The robber entered the store across from Chaminade University at 3105 Waialae Avenue about 3:10 p.m. Wednesday. He took out a handgun and demanded money.

A second cashier attempted to intervene and was struck by the robber, who fled in a white van, police said.

The man is age 50 to 60, 5-feet, 10-inches tall, and 250 pounds. He wore a dark-colored t-shirt with a “Kauai” design, a dark-colored hat with a shaka sign, eye glasses and shorts.
