Kunia bank robber may have also held up two other branches

This surveilance photo shows a suspect in the robbery of the Kunia branch of Bank of Hawaii this morning at about 9:38 a.m. The man is also a suspect in two other bank robberies.

Police and CrimeStoppers are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect in a bank robbery in Kunia around 9:38 a.m. today.

Police said the robber may be the person who the same Bank of Hawaii branch on Kupuolhi Street on Sept. 12, as well as the Amercian Savings Bank branch on North King Street on May 26.

Police said that this morning, a man approached a teller, brandished a handgun and demanded money. He fled in an unknown direction.

He is described as in his 40s, between 5 feet 4 and 5-6 and weighing 180 to 200 pounds. He had a mustache and was wearing a black jacket, black cap and sunglasses.
