The 6-foot-3, 190-pound senior quarterback completed 17 of 19 pass attempts for 349 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 49 yards and another score in a 42-28 state semifinal win over third-ranked Leilehua. Mariota has committed to play next season for the nation’s top-ranked football team, Oregon.

The 5-8 junior guard had 18 points and 11 assists in a win over Mid-Pacific as the host Wildcats captured the Konawaena Winter Classic title. Konawaena is now 7-0 in nonconference play.
