Brennan ‘not in best of shape;’ family asks for privacy
Former University of Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan remains in stable condition today at The Queen’s Medical Center, according to members of his family.
Brennan was involved in a two-car accident Friday on the Big Island. His girlfriend, Shakti Stream, 27, crossed the center line and ran head-on into a car driven by Theresa Wang, 46, according to police.
All three were hospitalized, with Stream scheduled to be released today. Brennan’s family said in a release, "Although our son, Colt, is not in the best of shape, we are certainly praying for both Shakti and Theresa Wang to get better. This has been a tragic ordeal for everyone, not just Colt. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Theresa and her family. Mahalo to all of our friends and family for their ongoing love and support."
The Brennans also added, "Colt is still sedated and in stable condition. We want to thank everyone for their concern and kindness. We also ask for privacy for the time being, so Colt can heal. The hospital will continue to provide updates on his condition."
