Lingle will travel to California for meetings next week
Gov. Linda Lingle is traveling to California to attend two meetings.
According to an announcement released today she will be in the Northridge section of Los Angeles on Monday to co-chair a task force on increasing alumni engagement with California State University, Northridge, her alma mater.
From Tuesday until Friday, Nov. 19, Lingle will be in San Diego to attend a Republican Governors Association meeting. She is due to return to Hawaii on Nov. 19.
Lingle spokesman Russell Pang said no state money is being expended during the trip.
Lingle’s second four-year term ends on Dec. 6. Democrat Neil Abercrombie takes over that day.
