A 41-year-old man allegedly burglarized his ex-girlfriend’s Makiki apartment over a six-month period while she was away on a trip, police said.

The woman, 41, said she returned from the trip Wednesday to find her Green Street apartment had been entered and property missing, police said. Witnesses said they saw the ex-boyfriend coming and going from the unit during her absence, police said. 

The suspect returned to the unit yesterday afternoon while she was there. Police were called and he was arrested.
