Lifeguards rescue swimmer near Lanai Lookout
Lifeguards rescued a swimmer this afternoon off East Oahu.
A caller reported the man needing help in the water between Hanauma Bay and Lanai Lookout at 2:08 p.m., city lifeguards said.
Lifeguards on personal watercraft launched from Sandy Beach brought the man to Hanauma Bay in about 10 minutes.
Paramedics were requested to check out the man.
