Saint Louis alum Jeremiah Masoli passed for 327 yards and rushed for 98 yards in Ole Miss' loss to Arkansas on Saturday.

FOOTBALL

» Mississippi senior quarterback Jeremiah Masoli (Saint Louis ’06) tied a career high with three touchdown passes and finished 21-for-36 for 327 yards in a 38-24 loss to Arkansas on Saturday. Masoli also rushed for 98 yards on 15 carries.

» Notre Dame sophomore linebacker Manti Te’o (Punahou ’09) had a game-high 13 tackles, including one for loss, in a 35-17 loss to Navy on Saturday.

» Brigham Young junior defensive back Travis Uale (Kamehameha ’05) had three solo tackles in a 25-20 victory over Wyoming.

» Arizona senior Lolomana Mikaele (Damien ’06) had two tackles, including one for loss, and a fumble recovery in a 44-14 win over Washington. Huskies freshman Hau’oli Jamora had two solo tackles and a pass breakup, while Wildcats backup quarterback Bryson Beirne (Mid-Pacific ’07) took the final snaps of the game.

» Utah State freshman quarterback Jeremy Higgins (Saint Louis ’10) completed both pass attempts for 10 yards and defensive tackle Kamaloni Vainikolo (Maui ’06) assisted on a tackle in a 45-7 loss to Hawaii.

» Colorado senior linebacker Michael Sipili (Damien ’06) finished with nine tackles, including one and a half for loss, and a quarterback hurry in a 27-24 loss to Texas Tech.

» Weber State senior quarterback Cameron Higgins (Saint Louis ’06) completed 11 of 19 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns in a 44-41 win over Portland State. Defensive lineman Adam Sagapolutele-White added seven tackles, including one and a half for loss, and Veteson Sanui (Kahuku ’10) had four tackles and a sack for the Wildcats. Junior safety Manoa Latu (Saint Louis ’08) had a team-high 11 tackles for the Vikings.

» Western Oregon freshman Lucas Gonsalves (Saint Louis ’09) was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference special teams player of the week. Gonsalves returned five punts for 98 yards and two kickoffs for 112 yards in a 38-17 win over Azusa Pacific on Saturday. His 210 all-purpose yards set a conference record.

» Claremont-Mudd-Scripps senior linebacker Adam Morris (Punahou ’07) had five tackles, including half a sack, and returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown in a 30-27 win over Whittier on Saturday.

» Northern State freshman receiver Trevor Mau (Saint Louis ’09) caught a 15-yard touchdown pass and finished with six receptions for 74 yards in a 27-7 loss to Minnesota-Duluth on Saturday.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL

» Texas freshman libero Sarah Palmer (Hawaii Baptist ’10) had a match-high nine digs in a three-set victory over Kansas State.

» Siena (N.Y.) freshman Taylor Akana (Kamehameha ’10) had 12 kills, seven digs and three aces and sophomore Lesli Akeo (Kamehameha ’09) had a match-high 18 digs in a three-set sweep of Rider.

» Boston College junior Brennan Clark (University ’08) had nine digs and five kills and assisted on a block in a three-set loss to Clemson on Saturday.

» San Jose State junior outside hitter Brianna Amian (Moanalua ’07) had 12 kills, four digs and two block assists and setter Caitlin Andrade (Kamehameha ’09) had 41 assists, six digs and two aces in a four-set loss to Fresno State.

» UC Irvine senior outside hitter Larissa Nordyke (Punahou ’07) had nine kills, nine digs and two block assists in a three-set loss to Cal Poly on Saturday.

» Saint Mary’s (Calif.) senior setter Kapua Kamana’o (‘Iolani ’07) had 23 assists, four digs and an ace in a four-set victory over Loyola Marymount. Junior Diana Hiromoto (Punahou ’08) had two digs for the Lions.

» Southern Utah senior Jazmine Ma’afala (McKinley ’07) posted a double-double with 14 digs and 10 kills and freshman outside hitter Alissa Youart (‘Iolani ’10) had 10 kills in a five-set loss to UMKC on Friday.

» Lewis & Clark sophomore setter Leia Matsunaga (Kamehameha ’09) had 25 assists and five digs in a three-set victory over Linfield (Ore.) on Saturday. Junior Samantha Lau (St. Francis ’08) had a match-high 17 digs and two assists for the Wildcats.

» Manhattanville (N.Y.) junior Makana Gomes (‘Iolani ’08) finished with 31 assists, 23 digs, six kills and three aces in a five-set victory over Brooklyn College.

» Towson (Md.) senior defensive specialist Lauren Tonkawa (Mid-Pacific ’07) had a team-high 11 digs in a three-set sweep of Hofstra on Sunday. Kylee Maneja (Sacred Hearts ’09) had nine digs and two assists and freshman Ayesha Hein (St. Andrew’s Priory ’10) had three kills, three assists and two aces for the Pride.

» Central Washington senior libero Brandie Vea (Kalani ’07) finished with a match-high 18 digs and two assists and sister Chelsie Vea (Kalani ’10) had nine digs and three aces in a four-set victory over Northwest Nazarene on Saturday.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

» Harvard sophomore midfielder Aisha Price (Punahou ’09) assisted on a goal in a 4-0 victory over Princeton on Saturday.

» George Fox senior Nicole Akiu (Kamehameha ’07) scored a goal 5 minutes into the second half of a 2-0 victory over Whitman.

» Pacific (Ore.) senior Ashley Kanda (Castle ’07) scored an unassisted goal in the 31st minute to help give the Boxers a 2-1 victory in double overtime over Whitworth on Sunday. Kanda also scored in Saturday’s 2-2 tie against Whitman. The Boxers’ other goal was scored by freshman Trisha Tengan (Kalani ’09).

WOMEN’S GOLF

» UCLA junior Stephanie Kono (Punahou ’08) shot a final-round 77 to finish in 15th place at 7-over 223 at the Landfall Tradition tournament on Monday.

MEN’S GOLF

» Pacific (Ore.) senior Max Bonk (Hawaii Prep ’07) won the Northwest Conference Fall Classic on Sunday by 12 strokes. Bonk shot a season-best two-round score of 139, closing with a 6-under 66. Freshman Chasen Bahouth (Maui ’10) shot back-to-back rounds of 84 to finish in 22nd place.

WOMEN’S SWIMMING

» Fairfield (Conn.) junior Michelle Yoshida (Punahou ’08) won the 100-yard freestyle in 53.48 seconds at the UConn Husky Invitational Saturday. Yoshida also posted two sixth-place finishes in the 500 freestyle and 100 backstroke.

WOMEN’S TENNIS

» George Fox freshman Shaina Inn (Hawaii Baptist ’10) won her first collegiate match on her birthday Friday, winning 6-3, 6-1 in singles and 8-5 in doubles against Lewis & Clark.
