Man charged with gunpoint robbery in Waialae
A Pearl City man was being held at Oahu Community Correctional Center on $50,000 bail after being charged with robbing a man at gunpoint last month.
Police said the Larry Vaa, 22, approached another man in the Waialae area at about 1:50 a.m. Sept. 25 and demanded his belongings and, at one point, aimed a gun at him. The victim, 19, managed to flee without injury, police said.
The suspect was located and arrested at his home Tuesday morning.
