Maui police arrest 3 in $660,000 drug bust
Maui police have arrested three people in Haiku and confiscated crystal methamphetamine and cocaine valued at more than $660,000.
Officers seized 4.6 pounds of crystal meth worth an estimated $627,750 and three-quarters of a pound of cocaine worth an estimated $33,895, the Maui County Police Department reported today.
Maui police vice officers on Oct. 7 arrested two men and a woman at a Haiku home. The raid culminated a month-long investigation, police said.
The suspects were booked for investigation of Methamphetamine Trafficking I, Promoting A Dangerous Drug I, and 2 counts of Prohibited Acts Related to Drug Paraphernalia.
They were released pending further investigation. Police said the investigation is continuing and it is unknown if more arrests will follow.
