Firefighters contain small brush fire near Whitmore Village
A brush fire near Whitmore Village burned about a quarter of an acre today deep in a ravine, fire Capt. Terry Seelig said.
The fire did not threaten any property and no one was injured, he said.
Fire companies were dispatched to the blaze at 2:37 p.m., and had it contained by about 4 p.m.
The location made the fire difficult to access, Seelig said.
