YMCA of Honolulu names family court judge new CEO
The YMCA of Honolulu says state Family Court Judge Michael Broderick is due to become its new CEO.
Broderick is expected to succeed Larry Bush, who plans to retire in December after 40 years at the nonprofit organization. The YMCA said Thursday Broderick is due to begin work in November.
Broderick has been a Family Court Judge since 2003. He’s served on the YMCA Metro Board of Directors for eight years.
He received his law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University.
The YMCA of Honolulu operates nine branches on Oahu. It has an operating budget of $26 million with more than 900 employees and 100 volunteers.
