Man charged with rape of 8-year-old girl
A 41-year-old man charged in connection with the sexual assault of an 8-year-old girl in Makaha made his initial appearance in District Court this morning.
Police reported earlier this month that the victim told a school counselor that she had been assaulted by the suspect.
John James Arruda Jr. was charged with four counts of first-degree sexual assault and was released from Oahu Community Correctional Center after posting $100,000 bail.
