Snorkeler pulled from Heeia Kea waters dies
A snorkeler pulled from waters off the Heeia Kea Boat Harbor was taken a hospital where she was pronounced dead this afternoon.
The woman in her 50s appeared to have gotten into distress while snorkeling at 2:32 p.m., said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department.
Members of her tour group performed CPR on her after bringing her ashore, where paramedics treated her and took her to the hospital, Cheplic said.
