‘Hoarders’ in Hawaii

Think your house is messy? You don’t know messy, unless you are like the Luke family of Kaneohe, featured in tonight’s 6 p.m. season premiere of A&E’s "Hoarders." The series sheds light on the serious disorder of compulsive hoarding. The show’s psychologist says the Hawaii home was the worst the crew had encountered. Aquaponics open house

Find out how to grow your own food anywhere at an open house at AquaPono from 2 to 4 p.m. Sundays.

With the high cost of shipped-in produce, the aquaponic business claims the price of an aquaponic system can be paid back within two years.

The Niu Valley business has a working garden showroom, and the open house will give visitors a brief overview of the ammonia-nitrogen cycle, aquaponic systems and pricing for design and installation.

AquaPono is located at 423 Puamamane St. Call 342-7443 or visit www.aquapono.com.
