Man arrested in UH burglary is released pending investigation
A Waialae-iki man was released pending investigation in connection with a burglary in a building at the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus earlier this year.
The break-in occurred in one of the portable buildings known as the Sinclair Annex either late May 27 or early May 28. A “P-card,” or UH credit card was stolen and subsequently used four times, according to UH-Manoa spokesman.
The suspect was traced because of fingerprints he left behind, police said.
The suspect, 24, is neither a student nor employee of the campus, the spokesman said.
