‘The Shoul’ is timely evening accessory
Silvery Moon, a new gift boutique in Honolulu, recently introduced a new accessory, perfect for those evenings out when temperatures can range from warm to overly air-conditioned.
The Shoul, pronounced "shole," is a play on the words "shoulder," "stole" and "shawl." It is an accessory piece designed to comfortably sit and stay on the shoulders, without the constant tugging that usually accompanies a traditional shoulder wrap.
The one-size-fits-all Shoul comes in a 100 percent acrylic version ($39) and a 5 percent cashmere, 45 percent nylon and 50 percent viscose blend ($49) that stays wrinkle-free when rolled. It’s also versatile. You can wear it as a shawl, scarf or tie it around your waist. It pairs well with jeans or evening dresses, making it the perfect travel companion.
Silvery Moon is at 1125 S. King St., near McKinley High School. Call 554-5993.

Bobbi Brown has come up with a palette of deep blues and icy grays for eyes and fresh rose-pink shades for lips and cheeks to pair with denim.
The limited edition Denim & Rose palette is a dress-up, dress-down color collection for summer, giving wearers nine color options for day and night. Brown describes the combination as being "rock ‘n’ roll but romantic, and modern yet classic all at once."
The cost of the palette is $60.
