The state Campaign Spending Commission is now collecting copies of personal financial disclosure reports that Hawaii’s congressional delegation files in Washington.

U.S. senators and representatives from Hawaii, and candidates for those offices, file the annual reports with officials in their respective chambers. The reports outline assets held by the lawmakers and candidates for Congress.

There had been some uncertainty between the Campaign Spending Commission and the state Ethics Commission about which agency is responsible for collecting and making copies of the forms available to the public.

But the two agencies say they’ve worked out an agreement whereby the Campaign Spending Commission will take over that task.
