Three boys arrested for beating and robbing a woman in downtown Honolulu
Police arrested three 15-year-old boys who allegedly beat and robbed a 24-year-old woman who was taking a walk last night in downtown Honolulu.
Police said the boys stopped her just before midnight yesterday near Mililani and Queen streets and asked her to help them find their iPod.
The woman agreed and helped them search.
The three boys then allegedly attacked her and tried to take her purse, but she held onto it, police said.
The boys then allegedly punched her head, face and arm until she let go of the purse, police said.
Officers investigating the report of a woman screaming found the victim.

The woman was taken to the Straub Clinic & Hospital emergency room with numerous contusions and abrasions
Police found the suspects in the area, recovered her purse and arrested the three on suspicion of second-degree robbery.
The three teens were allegedly intoxicated, police said.
