A 30-year-old Nuuanu man is scheduled to be arraigned in Family Court Thursday for allegedly injuring his seven-month-old daughter last year.

Police arrested Jason Kiriako on June 18, 2014 on suspicion of abuse after his wife observed suspicious injuries on their infant daughter.

After an investigation the case was upgraded to first-degree assault and Kiriako was re-arrested Monday and charged. 

He was released after posting $100,000 bail.

His first Family Court appearance is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
