A third November concert at Blaisdell Arena has been added to Janet Jackson’s Honolulu stop on her Unbreakable World Tour.
Pre-sale tickets for the additional date, Nov. 15, will be offered from 10 a.m. Tuesday through 10 p.m. Thursday. American Express card members and those who pre-order Jackson’s new album via JanetJackson.com are eligible for pre-sale access.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, online at Ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800-745-3000. If any tickets remain, the Neal S. Blaisdell Box Office will open at 9 a.m. Saturday. The box office is closed Friday, a state and federal holiday.
Prices range from $20 to $175.
All tickets for Jackson’s concerts at the arena Nov. 12 and 13 have been snapped up, said promoters Live Nation, Rhythm Nation, producer Tommy Meharey and BAMP Project in an announcement Monday.
The third show was added just as Jackson was honored at the BET Awards on Sunday, where she received the first Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual Award.
At the televised awards show, Jackson said, “Twenty-five years ago we created Rhythm Nation hoping the world would be a better place. But today there’s even more to be done.”
She added, “To all the fans, I’ve missed you so much and I love you so much.”
Jackson has announced plans to release a new studio album this fall. "No Sleeep," the first single, debuted online at Janet Jackson.com on June 22.
