Driver flees from traffic stop, arrested for alleged auto theft
Police arrested a 37-year-old man who apparently fled from officers who tried to pull him over for a traffic violation in Waialua at about 12:35 a.m. Sunday.
Police said officers located the vehicle, which had been abandoned, and arrested the suspect nearby at about 12:48 a.m. for driving wihtout a license and suspicion of auto theft.
