Bicyclist suffers extensive injuries after struck by vehicle
A bicyclist estimated to be in his 50s or 60s was critically injured when he was hit by a vehicle at about 2:50 p.m. today in the intersection of Waialae Avenue and Kapiolani Boulevard.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, which said the man suffered extensive injuries, administered advanced life support. Paramedics continued treatment en route to an emergency room.
