Molokai and Lahaina communities gather on wildfire anniversary

Molokai and Lahaina friends and family gathered for kanikapila at Malapai, commonly known as the Kahana Boat Ramp, to share gratitude for each other. Community members from Molokai were the first to respond with immediate aid for the Lahaina wildfire survivors by ferrying supplies to the boat ramp right after the disaster.
