Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden hosts plant sale

The annual Halawa Xeriscape Garden’s Unthirsty Plant Sale was held on Saturday. Enthusiasts sold and purchased a variety of drought-resistant plants at the free event. The sale was hosted by the Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden and the Board of Water Supply which also featured a team of “plant doctors” to offer plant care advice, informational booths about pests and invasive species, free soil conditioner and more.
