Highlights from the music career of Aaron Mahi

Hawaiian music legend Aaron Mahi died Saturday at the age of 70. He served as the bandmaster of the Royal Hawaiian Band for 24 years.

Aaron Mahi played the piano as Robin Stephens Rohr and twin sisters Nohea Leopoldo and Imiola Gora-Aina of No Hoahanau sang a Prelude Na Mele during Hawai'i International Forgiveness Day. The event was held at Central Union Church and featured entertainment, discussions and awards dedicated to local individuals who have overcome difficult situations with hope, faith and by transcending differences.
