Parade honors King Kamehameha
Thousands gathered Saturday to watch about 50 groups participate in the 107th Kamehameha Celebration Floral Parade, which began at Iolani Palace and made its way down Ala Moana Boulevard and through Waikiki along Kalakaua Avenue before ending at Kapiolani Park. Participating were pa‘u riders, royal societies, civic clubs, schools, marching bands, community leaders, pageant winners and more.
