Electric Miki shuttle vehicles to service Honolulu airport

The state Department of Transportation has added four autonomous electric passenger shuttles to augment the existing Wiki Wiki shuttle service at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. Named “Miki,” the Hawaiian word for “agile,” the shuttles, services and software are provided by Beep Inc. in partnership with HDOT and Sustainability Partners. Service begins Wednesday.
