Man, 46, stabbed in Lanakila District Park; suspect arrested
A 46-year-old man was in serious condition after being stabbed at Lanakila District Park in Liliha just before 11 a.m. Sunday.
Honolulu police said an argument between the victim and a 38-year-old man escalated and the suspect “assaulted the victim with a dangerous instrument”
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services officials said the man was stabbed multiple times in base of the neck. He was treated for life-threatening injuries and transported to a hospital in serious condition.
Police said the suspect was located nearby, positively identified and arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
