Bank of Hawaii is installing the most advanced and powerful magnetic tape electronic computer system for civilian use, and is expected to be operational in a couple of months. The $250,000 system is leased from IBM. Sandra Le Drew of IBM points out the computer’s features to Bankoh’s Albert J. Maruyama.
