A 20-foot shipping container from Kauai arrived at the Ramelb family’s distribution hub in Lahaina on Wednesday. The donation drive was spearheaded by Kauai residents Ben and Tracy Kahaulua who were inspired by a newscast which featured Leo and Erline Ramelb’s immediate action to create a distribution hub at their home to support the Lahaina community days after the fire. Tracy Kahaulua included a letter to the Ramelbs in the container and wrote, “My spirit is lifted as we are commanded to feed and clothe and give water, along with the gospel, to those who thirst & hunger. Physical & spiritual needs are what needs to be filled!”
