Survivors face long road to recovery, says United Way official

Peyton Chesson and Zoe Chesson were renting a house on Kainau Road when the Lahaina fire broke out. They fled with their two children and eventually decided to move to Kona where Peyton had better job prospects. Peyton is back for closure and to see the two-bed, one-bath ohana unit they rented for the last eight years; relocating has been hard for the family.
