Suspect arrested after shooting leaves man seriously injured
A 22-year-old man was arrested for allegedly shooting another man in the Keeaumoku area early Sunday, authorities said.
The victim, also 22, was shot in the abdomen at 4:49 a.m., according to a police report.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services paramedics responded, treating the victim and taking him to a trauma center in serious condition.
Honolulu police located and arrested the suspect at 5:45 a.m. for suspicion of second-degree attempted murder.
HPD has opened an attempted murder investigation in the case.
