2 adults, 3 girls hurt after SUV rolls over on H-1 in Makakilo
Five people, including three children, were injured this morning when the SUV they were traveling in rolled over on H-1 freeway in Makakilo.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services officials said paramedics responded to the crash at about 11 a.m. after the SUV “lost control and rolled over multiple times.”
Paramedics treated a woman, 53, and man, 41, in serious condition, and three girls, ages 11, 15, 16, in stable condition, and took all of them to a hospital.
Honolulu police closed all H-1 westbound lanes before the Makakilo off-ramp for several hours as they responded and investigated.
