UPDATE: 5:30 p.m.
The Honolulu Fire Department responded to seven calls of downed power lines on Pensacola Street in Makiki, Bertram Street in Kaimuki, Kokea Street in Kalihi, Aumaka Street in Pearl City, Kunawai Lane in Nuuanu and Liliha Street also in Nuuanu from about 9:15 a.m. to 4:18 p.m. today.
Firefighters also responded to four calls of blown roofs on Holua Place in Kalihi, Laimi Road in Nuuanu, Kapiolani Boulevard in McCully and Alewa Drive in Kalihi from about 12:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Fire crews also responded to one call of a blown roof on Numana Road in Kalihi Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters were also busy responding to eight calls of downed trees in Ewa Beach, Pearl City, Aiea, Punchbowl, Moanalua and McCully from about 6:20 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. today and four downed tree calls in Ewa Beach, Kaaawa, Mililani and Kapahulu Wednesday.
4:15 p.m.
A driver was seriously injured after her vehicle struck a downed tree on the Kaneohe-bound lanes of Likelike Highway before the Wilson Tunnel, the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said.
EMS responded to the scene at about 12:15 p.m. The driver’s age was not available at this time. She was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
On Kauai, nearly 1,290 Kauai Island Utility Cooperative members suffered a power outage in Kapaa at about 11:25 a.m. Power was restored within an hour, said spokeswoman Allison Young.
Two pockets of outages also occurred in Aepo and Wainiha.
2:50 p.m.
Honolulu firefighters were busy responding to calls of six toppled trees, five downed power lines and three blown roofs today, according to a spokesperson.
Fire crews had also responded to calls of four downed trees and one blown roof Wednesday.
Hawaiian Electric crews, meanwhile, restored power to about 450 customers in Kalihi at about 1 p.m. after strong winds toppled utility poles on Kokea Street.
About four customers in Kalihi still do not have power.
2:05 p.m.
The Kaneohe-bound lanes on Likelike Highway have reopened after crews removed a tree that had blocked the lanes before the Wilson Tunnel and part of the left Honolulu-bound lane, according to the Hawaii Department of Transportation.
1:45 p.m.
Hawaiian Electric crews have restored power to about 1,750 customers from Kapapala Ranch in Pahala to South Point Road in Naalehu.
1 p.m.
Approximately 2,105 Hawaiian Electric customers on Hawaii island are without power from Waimea and Kohala Mountain Road to North Kohala. Crews are responding.

Strong winds and gusts have caused power outages and toppled trees and utility poles on Oahu and the neighbor islands today.
The Kaneohe-bound lanes on Likelike Highway are closed to motorists due to a fallen tree.
In Makiki, a downed utility pole caused a power outage to about 2,100 Hawaiian Electric customers.
Honolulu police closed Pensacola Street between Nehoa Street and Piikoi Street sometime before 10:05 a.m. due to the downed pole.
Hawaiian Electric crews have since restored power to a majority of the customers after they were switched to another circuit.
About 70 customers remain without power until repairs are completed, spokeswoman Shannon Tangonan said.
Police have closed Kokea Street between King Street and Dillingham Boulevard because of four downed utility poles and one leaning pole in Kalihi. One of the poles apparently struck a vehicle.
About 450 customers in Kalihi experienced an outage due to the toppled poles.
On Maui, Hawaiian Electric crews are responding to outages in Olinda and Makawao due to a tree in power lines and a downed pole.
Lanes are closed near 1395 Piiholo Road as crews work to clear vegetation from the lines before conducting repairs.
On Hawaii island, about 1,750 customers are without power from Kapapala Ranch to South Point Road. Hawaiian Electric crews are responding.
