City takes ownership of Leahi Avenue after community urging

                                At top, Mayor Rick Blangiardi signed a quitclaim deed for Leahi Avenue on Tuesday signaling the transfer of interest in the roadway to the City and County of Honolulu. City officials say they will put the street back to essentially the way it was before a private owner took away street parking and allowed food trucks to operate.
