Firefighters extinguish large blaze at Campbell Industrial Park
UPDATE 7 p.m.
Firefighters have extinguished the fire at Campbell Industrial Park in Kapolei.
The fire, located at the address of Island Recycling, began Wednesday night, and was extinguished just after 4:30 p.m. today, the Honolulu Fire Department reported.
HFD began fighting the fire Wednesday night and spent today containing and extinguishing the burning recycled material. The fire department said it will return to the scene if necessary.
4:20 p.m.
Firefighters have contained the fire at Campbell Industrial Park but are still at the scene, the Honolulu Fire Department has reported.

No structures were impacted by the two-alarm fire that broke out Wednesday night at 91-140 Kaomi Loop, the location of Island Recycling, HFD said.
No injuries were reported because of the fire.

Honolulu firefighters continue to battle a large fire that broke out at Campbell Industrial Park in West Oahu Wednesday night.
Twelve units with 36 firefighters responded to the two-alarm fire at 91-140 Kaomi Loop at about 8:10 p.m.
When crews arrived, they saw smoke and flames emanating about 70 to 100 feet into the air from a pile of recycling materials in an open area, the Honolulu Fire Department said.
Winds blew smoke downwind, triggering multiple 911 calls.
The fire department said crews will continue to battle the blaze today.
